Wichitan dies in crash near Medicine Lodge
A 23-year-old Wichita woman was killed Friday in a head-on crash about six miles north of Medicine Lodge.
Heather Lyn Marie Corbally was driving a 2004 Pontiac southbound on Isabel Road about 5:30 p.m. when it veered over the center line and struck a northbound 1976 Ford pickup driven by Christopher Swayden, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report.
Corbally died at the scene. Swayden, 20, of Isabel, was taken to Wichita's Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis in critical condition.

Heather Lyn Marie Corbally, 23, Newton Medical Center CNA, passed away on Friday (Sept. 23, 2011).
Survivors are a daughter, Chiara Jaed Garcia and her father, Elias Garcia of Newton; mother and stepfather, Sheila Marie Hoeck Edwards and Kelly Joe Edwards of Medicine Lodge; brothers, Rick Blake (Maelyn Loch) of Rose Hill and Joe Corbally (Krysten Goodman) of Medicine Lodge; grandmother, Carolyn Santos of Pratt; aunt, Carol Campbell (Jeff) of Spring Hill, Tenn.; niece, Mali Loch; nephew, Joseph Corbally of Medicine Lodge; and numerous aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by father, Keith Corbally.
Visitation with the family will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, with a service following at 11 a.m., both at Downing & Lahey West in Wichita.
