Obituary published in the Columbia Daily Tribune, Boone County, Missouri dated October 28, 1929:
Marcus Redmond, 48, Died This Morning.
Marcus Redmond, 48 years old, died this morning at 4 o’clock at his home of his sister, Mrs. Lena Johnson, 414 Duncan avenue, of tuberculosis.
The time of the funeral which will be conducted at Huntsdale, has not been determined. Burial will be at Nebo church.
The deceased is survived by his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson, two brothers, William Redmond of Little Rock, Ark., and Robert Redmond of Huntsdale. Mrs. Hartley Richardson of Columbia is a niece.
