Harry Sherwood Dies Suddenly at His Home Here
Harry L. Sherwood, 66, died unexpectedly at 8:45 a.m. today at his home, 807 Cleveland.
Born northeast of Cairo, Mr. Sherwood, lived all his life on the farm where he was born until he retired and moved to Moberly in August last year.
He was a member and served as deacon of the Liberty Christian Church, northeast of Cairo.
Surviving are the wife; one daughter, Mrs. Cecil Robuck, Cairo; a son, Weldon Sherwood, Moberly; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and an Aunt, Mrs. Girda Cox, in the Maud community south of Clarence.
The body is at the Cater Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. W. C. Harris, Ashland, former pastor of the Liberty Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
